Cookie Policy
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website to remember user preferences, collect statistics or support certain functions.
2. Which cookies does MindSparks use?
MindSparks uses analytical cookies from Google Analytics 4 only with your consent. On your first visit a cookie banner asks you to accept or reject. Analytical cookies are only placed after you click "Accept".
The following categories of cookies may be placed:
- Strictly necessary cookies | placed by the hosting provider for security and correct operation. Exempt from consent requirements under the GDPR and the e-Privacy Directive.
- Analytical cookies (Google Analytics 4) | only active after your explicit consent via the banner. IP addresses are anonymised, no advertising profiles are built and no link is made with Google Ads.
- MindSparks consent cookie | a local storage entry (localStorage, not a classic cookie) remembers your choice so the banner does not appear on every visit.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing site data for mindsparks.be in your browser. The banner will then reappear on your next visit.
3. External services
The following services support the operation of the website:
- Google Analytics 4 (anonymous visitor statistics) | only active after your consent via the cookie banner. IP addresses are anonymised. Data is retained according to Google's standard retention period. Processor: Google Ireland Limited, with EU/EEA data processing agreement (GDPR art. 28).
- JouwDomein.be (hosting) | may place strictly necessary cookies for security and correct server operation. No tracking.
- Web3Forms (contact form) | may place a temporary session cookie on submission for anti-spam purposes. This cookie disappears when you close your browser.
- Bunny Fonts (Inter typeface) | GDPR-compliant proxy for Google Fonts. Places no cookies and does not log IP addresses for tracking.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Instructions per browser:
Blocking all cookies may cause some parts of websites to malfunction.
5. Changes
We may update this cookie policy when our cookie practices change. The most recent version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
